Changing Direction is a grassroots youth leadership for
democracy, climate justice, and social solidarity

Changing Direction is a movement of young people in Israel, working to build a just, democratic, and sustainable future. Founded in response to the growing climate crisis, we quickly understood that real climate action cannot happen without addressing the broader social and political context in which we live.

At this time, when democracy in Israel is under severe threat, we focus our efforts on defending democratic values, promoting solidarity and shared society, and keeping climate justice on the public agenda.

We work in partnership with a wide network of activists and organizations, using nonviolent direct action, social media, and public engagement to raise awareness and shift the conversation.

Alongside our activism, we also offer trainings and workshops on the philosophy, history, and practice of nonviolent resistance, empowering the next generation of changemakers.
